In the second quarter of 2021, the Books and Reference category saw a variety of performance trends among the top five apps in Guatemala, as tracked by Sensor Tower.

Buenovela - Webnovel & Stories from GoodNovel experienced a decline in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $933 in late March and decreasing to around $519 by the end of June. Weekly downloads also showed a downward trend, beginning at 4.4K and dropping to just 69. However, the app maintained a steady number of weekly active users, fluctuating between 12.3K and 8.5K throughout the quarter.
